In 2017, the production of new housing loans corresponds to 272 billions of euros (252 billions of euros in 2016), which represents a new record. Even if the amount of renegotiation and repurchase of credit operations (which increase the production of new loans without impacting outstanding amounts) stayed high in 2017, its share of total loans has substantialy decreased, going from 62% at the beginning of 2017 to 16% at the year end.
