Vacancy rate continues falling to all-time lows

  • Office gross take-up was 68,300 sq m in Q2 2019, rising 63% over the previous quarter. An accumulated 110,100 sq m were contracted in the semester, registering a 26% y-o-y increase.
  • Relocation was the take-up main driver this quarter, accounting for 61% of the area contracted.
  • Vacancy rate decreased to a 5.2% record-low and is at 2.8% if we exclude the Western Corridor zone.
  • Prime rents remain under an upward pressure having increased in Historic Centre (3%) and in Parque das Nações (1%). Further rental growth is expected.
