•The overall vacancy rate increased 1.0% to 16.6% in Q4 2017. This is due to Suncor, who previously resided at Scotia Square in the downtown core (CBD), shifting to new supply at 130 Kelsey Drive in the suburban market.

•The downtown vacancy rate increased 4.6% from Q3 2017’s reported 17.8% vacancy rate up to 22.4% on the quarter.

•Overall asking net rents increased $0.11 per sq. ft. quarter-over-quarter up to $18.11 in Q4 2017.
