Investment volumes doubled in the student housing market in 2015, key portfolio transactions in H2 2015 included the sale of eight assets in AUB's portfolio to the Unite Fund for £280m and the Student Castle Portfolio to CPPIB for £330m.
2015 also saw significant value increases with yields back to 2007 levels and the CBRE Student Accommodation Total Returns Index showing a total return of 18.4% in the year to September 2015.
