The CBRE 2025 Asia Pacific Logistics Occupier Survey, conducted between March and April 2025, collected over 380 responses from logistics occupiers across the APAC region, including a significant 100+ responses from India-based occupiers. 

Our 2025 India Logistics Occupier Survey report spotlights regional players’ crucial insights about their business outlook, growth plans, strategic opportunities, and potential challenges.  

Key findings include:

- Occupiers remain confident about their business outlook: More than 80% of the India-based respondents stated they expect their business performance to improve over the next 24 months

- Portfolio growth expected to continue as medium- to long-term drivers endure: In alignment with their broader business trajectory, more than 80% of respondents indicated their intention to increase the size of their warehousing portfolio over the next two years. 

- Strengthening inventory management tops supply chain priorities: About 70% of respondents indicated improving inventory visibility and planning, along with increasing their supplier base, as their most preferred measures to enhance supply chain.

- Critical ESG features impacting building selection: More than half of the respondents reported that ‘availability of on-site renewable energy’ is a leading ESG criterion for building selection.
